Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And it means that day and night are linked in a way in which only few things are. One cannot be there without the other, yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I wonder to be always together yet forever apart?
Near and Far

This post is my entry for the Weekly Photo Challenge: Near and Far. It’s the first time that I have participated in this and found the whole concept behind it pretty good. The same theme can have different perspective for everyone, so what makes it interesting is to know how others view it. Striking thoughts and opinions make this a must-watch-out.

The balance of the universe… the contrasts… good cannot live without bad just like light cannot exist without darkness. Beautiful photo for the challenge!
Wow.. true words. you’ve got it right 🙂 Thank you for the appreciation!

A beautiful picture Tapish. All of us who inhabit this planet are inextricably linked. It is my humble opinion that governments are the greatest impedance to human progress.
Thank you so much, Nancy. Simply loved what you just said, “governments are the greatest impedance to human progress”.
It’s absolutely true, indeed.
Thank You! Have a great week & Be safe.
My pleasure! Same to you.
Take care.
Where is this? I love the subtle change in color. 🙂
Thanks Jenn! I clicked this in Mount Abu, a hill station in western India. 🙂

lovely – & thanks for the pingback
You’re welcome!
Love how nature (and your photo) offer some respite from what looks like a hot day calming into a lovely night – thanks for the pingback!
I’m glad you made such comment 🙂
Yes, the scene was intense and lovely.
You’re welcome!
Excellent shot Tapish! 🙂
Thanks a million 😛

Oh to aap ye bhi karte hain. 😉
This is nice, you know. esp the words within the quote.
Btw you had the luxury of capturing it through the photograph, I had the luxury of capturing it in words. Read this sometime, when you feel like and have a lot of free time because let me warn you, this is pretty lengthy.
An ardent affection-http://unfinishedcreations.wordpress.com/2011/11/10/an-ardent-affection/
Haan Jyoti ji 😀
Thank you. Yes these words describe the reason, of the photograph being my entry for this challenge.
I just read your post. You know all the while I was reading it, I was just searching for clues of these two posts having a connection. The more I read, it made my mind go off that thought. Then, bang came the last lines of the second last para and you changed the complete scene. Loved the metaphor for the scene, could imagine it and then you ‘unleashed’ the Ardent Affection 😉
Lovely post!

Thank you so much for the pingback. The photo is great and the quotation in the beginning seems to fit the picture perfectly.
You’re welcome Myra!
Thanks a bunch for the appreciation. Glad you liked my work 🙂
