I saw this elderly man in a train, sitting peacefully on the passage to the door. He was alone, or say, that was what I felt.
In reality, the man had the Almighty by his side and his faith in the most precious gift ever given to him by God, the gift of LIFE. He seemed to be lost in his own solitary world, contemplating about infinite number of thoughts.
He was alone, but not incomplete!
Though I already posted this photograph earlier in Contemplation, I found it a perfect entry for the Weekly Photo Challenge: Solitary.
It would be great if you check these too.

I love your post as well as your photo. I’m glad to read your thoughts about it. My heart breaks whenever I’m seeing elderly people by themselves. I love your take on it. You’re right, they’re not necessarily alone, solitary but not lonely. 🙂
Oh thanks a bunch for your comprehensive comment. I’m so glad you loved the thoughts behind it 🙂

Thanks for the pingback.
I had to follow the link to your “contemplation” post to see the photo. For some weird reason it doesn’t show up here… Hopefully just some temporary technical problem.
You’re welcome!
Oh yes that must be the problem I guess. I’ll still check it right away. Thanks for letting me know.
No problem 🙂
Thanks for the PB. Wonderful shot! :-). G
Thank you 🙂
